In brief. This page is the public log of NYC AC repair contractors we have removed from rankings after failed re-verification. We update it within 24 hours of a status change. Removal reasons are stated in plain language and every entry links to the source document that triggered the removal.
Our methodology requires that every ranked contractor holds an active DCWP Home Improvement Contractor licence, meets our cross-source rating floor, and can produce a Certificate of Insurance on request. When any of those fail, we remove them from rankings. This page shows what we removed and why.
